The Internet provides an enormous number of resources for everyone. Being able to find and evaluate online resources to meet our needs is critical.
The learning in this module is worth 1-3 Continuing Ed Credit Hours.
You can earn 1-2 hours in the Learn area below and an additional hour can be earned in the Do section by implementing something you've learned into your teaching and/or learning.Complete the Share what you've Learned set by December 15; your certificate will be emailed to you.Some of the links on various technology applications will take you to Atomic Learning. Some ideas:
- Find new sites that you can use with your students on your ActivBoard.
- Find new sites that you can use with students on an iPad. (Create bookmarks or web clips of the sites)
- Find new sites that you can find for a teacher resources and so something different in your classroom.
- Build a list of web resources on your blog or web site for students to use.
- Teach students research skills.
